Overview
A BSA Analyst for Community National Bank & Trust of Texas provides a variety of duties to support the bank’s BSA/AML functions in maintaining compliant and effective programs. The ideal candidate would have a background in BSA/AML monitoring of high-risk customers, transaction monitoring, and SAR writing/filing.
Job duties will include:
Provides support to the BSA Officer in periodic reviews of written policies and procedures necessary to ensure compliance with BSA/AML regulations.
Assists in the oversight of high-risk customer relationships, including monitoring, documentation, and enhanced due diligence.
Research, analyze and investigate customer account behavior for potential suspicious activity utilizing system software.
Initiate prevention/recovery/mitigation efforts required to avoid bank and customer loss
Perform various other duties as assigned by the BSA Officer in the responsibilities of managing the Bank’s BSA/AML/CIP/OFAC Program.
Ability to work within deadlines, be multi-task oriented and capable of critical thinking.
Maintain good understanding, including ongoing training, of the BSA/AML regulations and FinCEN Guidelines required to detect current money laundering and fraud schemes
Work independently to self-manage projects with a team to perform assigned duties; manage multiple tasks and change priorities simultaneously.
Exhibit a strong culture of trustworthiness, dependability and responsibility and observe strict confidentiality to information, findings, or recommendations related to AML investigation activities or legal actions taken.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred. 2 – 5 years related bank compliance experience required or appropriate combination of education and experience. Proficient knowledge of relevant state, federal and other governmental agency laws, and regulations for financial institutions. Knowledge of banking services, policies, and procedures.
